As an Inpatient Physical Therapist, you are often a patient's first impression of PT Solutions guiding them through the continuum of care. You'll work one-on-one with patients during their most difficult days providing function-based treatments and interventions to see continuous daily gains and independence of mobility. This role gives you the opportunity for interdisciplinary team collaboration working closely with occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, referring providers, case management team, social workers, and nursing staff to ensure the best and most evidenced based practice for our patients.    MORE ABOUT THIS LOCATION: Swain Community Hospital is a 48-bed, fully accredited critical access hospital located in Bryson City, NC, which has been serving the residents of Swain and Graham counties since 1948. The hospital, along with an outpatient physician practice, offers primary and inpatient care, as well as emergency, laboratory, imaging, rehabilitation, urology, cardiopulmonary, geriatric outpatient, pediatric and gastroenterology services, and a pain clinic. Harris Regional Hospital is an 86-bed acute care facility located in Sylva, NC. With a long-standing reputation for excellent care, this fully accredited hospital has been providing care to western North Carolina residents since 1929. Harris offers five major service lines, including orthopedics, cardiology, general surgery, women’s care, and emergency medicine, as well as sports medicine, physical therapy, imaging and laboratory services, and many other areas of subspecialty care.   SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE - Strong Communication & Relationships:Fostering an Interdisciplinary team approach with dynamic and ongoing communication with all staff members to provide well rounded treatment to all patients - Patient Outcomes:Creating efficient treatment plans that allow patients to return to their prior level of functioning - Patient Satisfaction:Building trust & communication leading to great patient satisfaction scores   PERKS OF THIS POSITION - Earn:Competitive compensation with ability to earn additional weekend and holiday pay rates - Learn:Access to a variety of inpatient & acute courses through MedBridge membership and monthly MedBridge Journal Club hosted by Inpatient/Acute leaders.
