Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant assists the Occupational Therapist in the practice of occupational therapy to include development deficits, activities of daily living work conditioning, range of motion, coordination, balance endurance, cognition, and exercise programs to restore function and increase strength.

PT Solutions proudly has partnered with Advent Health North Pinellas, which is a 160-bed facility and a small community hospital. All primarily geriatric population. Joint commission certified for joint hip and total knee program and holds a primary stroke certification. There are 5 total floors to the hospital including 1 critical care unit and 1 step down unit. This is an all-acute care hospital. No neurosurgery and no open-heart surgery. Team itself is made up of 17 full-time employees (4 OT, 2 SLP, 11 PT)
