The Manager, Internal Travel reports directly to the Vice President of Clinical Talent Engagement and is responsible for the operational management and execution of the organization’s internal travel program. This role serves as the coordinator for internal traveler deployment, ensuring alignment between operational staffing needs, financial parameters, and long term recruitment strategy.
This position functions as a project management role, responsible for intake, prioritization, approval coordination, and executing placement of both internal and external travel therapists. While internal travel therapists report clinically and operationally to regional leadership during their assignments, this role owns the process allowing for successful placements.
In addition, this role manages external travel vendor relationships, including performance oversight, rate negotiations, and contract coordination to ensure effective and cost effective staffing coverage.
