Hospital-based Wellness Associate: The purpose of this position is to implement and promote well-being activities for patients during their hospital stay.


Non-Hospital-based Wellness Associate: The purpose of this position is to implement and promote well-being activities for clients.


The Wellness Associate may also assist with staffing, scheduling, assisting patients to treatment areas, cleaning of equipment, equipment set up, cleaning of gym, supply maintenance, clerical duties, data entry and other tasks as assigned by PT Solutions leadership or therapy team.


The associate shall respect the rights and dignity of all individuals and shall provide compassionate service, shall act in a trustworthy manner towards patients and in all other aspects of well-being services

This Role supports a specialized mobility program that has been successfully initiated at our site, with strong patient and hospital partner satisfaction.

 

Qualifications

  • At minimum, a High School or GED diploma (Submission of diploma for the highest level of education obtained will be required).
  • Customer Service experience preferred.
  • Year-Round Employment Required – This position requires consistent, ongoing availability throughout the year. We are unable to accommodate seasonal hires who only work during summer and return for breaks.

Schedule

  • Full time: Monday through Friday 830am to 5pm

Compensation

 

Pay Range: $17/hr (Any posted pay range considers multiple compensations factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the position)


Essential Functions

  • Compliments and supports care team and/or wellness leader (and/or other designated personnel) with patient or client activities.
  • Hospital-based Wellness Associate will be held accountable to the Inpatient Therapy Technician Competency at the O or S level (O – evaluator observed competent demonstration of activity; S – evaluator observed competent demonstration of the activity during a skills lab)
  • Examples of Wellness Activities include (but not limited to): positioning, transfers, walking with patients, reviewing in room activity program, engaging with in-room guests to review pertinent well-being activities, as appropriate per HIPPA

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Window-based applications.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Must have demonstrated skill in prioritizing daily responsibilities and crises to handle a heavy workload.
  • Must be able to work successfully in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations

Required Credentials

  • Must be currently employed at PT Solutions
  • Must be currently employed at the site of the Wellness Program
  • Successful completion of Safe Patient Handling Competency
  • Primary role must be an Athletic Trainer, Rehab Tech, or Rehab Aide
