The Finance Manager is responsible for supporting financial planning and budgeting processes, analyzing financial statements and reports, developing financial models, preparing forecasts, and conducting research and analysis to support leadership decision-making. In this role, you will also provide financial guidance to project teams and support the monthly close process. To succeed in this role, the Finance Manager should demonstrate proficiency in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate financial data and insights through concise reporting and modeling.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and reports.
  • Tracking KPIs and preparing financial reports.
  • Leading the forecasting and budgeting process.
  • Understanding key business drivers.
  • Assisting project teams with financial guidance.
  • Developing financial projections and building financial models.
  • Performing research and analysis as required.

 

Requirements:

  • Knowledgeable in advanced forecasting concepts (Statistics, Economics, Stochastic Forecasting, Monte Carlo Simulations, ETS Algorithyms).
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (Index, Match, Sumproduct and Indirect functions as well as Power Query and relational databases in Data Model).
  • Identify and quantify Risks and Opportunities and then working with Operations to develop strategies to mitigate risk and pursue opportunities.
  • Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience.
  • Working knowledge of financial strategies.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SQL, NetSuite, or related financial systems.

 

Required Credentials:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • MBA preferred but not required (concentrarion in Finance would be a plus)
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling.
